Join Aaron Albright ’99, as he sits down with Larry Stybel and discusses "How to Design and Execute Chapter Three in Your Career." The discussion will be followed by Q&A.

The late Harvard Business School Professor Anthony Athos said there are three chapters in a professional life:
  1. Learn the Game.
  2. Win the Game.
  3. Design the Game You Wish to Play for the Next 5-10 Years.
Stage 3 begins with “design.” It is not a euphemism for “retirement” or “start a new career.”  The Game you might wish to play for the next ten years could be the Game you are currently playing. Larry and his team are retained to work with leaders who are nearing the end of Stage 2 but have not yet designed Stage 3.

Designing/Executing Chapter Three is based on Stybel Peabody’s work with law firm partners, members of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), professional athletes, and family business founders looking to design “What’s Next?” once the next generation takes over.
